Linda Vang Photography

Welcome to Linda Vang Photography! It is a pleasure to meet you.

I assumed some fascinating facts should be located here, however, all fancy things aside I love to capture memories, create art with my cannon and I’m currently in Oklahoma with my husband and our two adorable Mini Australian Shepards.

My love of photography began like many as a hobby, and it soon became a business where I can let my passion flow. I specialize in capturing wedding ceremonies and event gatherings and enjoy creative photography or videography as well.

I’ve worked on a few documentaries, personal scripts, and capturing wedding ceremonies (both cultural/traditional).

I hope you find what you’re looking for here and if you don’t I hope you still have an amazing day because you deserve it.

FUN FACTS:

Now with all the important “work” related info out of the way, here’s a quick get to know me on a personal level.

My husband Houa, is an outdoor fanatic! You’ll hear me talk about how he cleans the fields so I can get through the towering mazes of grass or how he is out catching fish again, and how he is my number one supporter. You will catch us working together during the photoshoots (I’ve trained him well).
We have 2 adorable “Mini Australian Shepards” named Totoro & Sophie.

On any given day you’ll see Totoro’s beaming gazes and playful attitude, meanwhile our pup Sophie is oh so calm, and independent. She loves kisses and laying in your lap as she is getting used to the family.

I love my time with my little family, so it makes it so much more thrilling when I get to also see yours!

Still nervous about doing a photoshoot?

Here’s why I’d love to be your photographer.

I think we can each speak for ourselves - we’ve struggled with societal norms of “how we should look” and a great shift I’ve noticed a lot in these last few years is the appreciation of self care - and loving who you are and how you look regardless of society's expectations.

Why is this important?
Because I get it, perhaps you don’t feel like you should be in front of a camera. During my younger years, I had really low self-esteem around my personal appearance and weight. I always felt depressed or upset about getting bullied for how I looked. But, as time passed I learned to love myself for these exact flaws.

It’s funny how life works - I avoided looking at myself for 5 years but now when I see myself I usually greet myself with a quirky “Hey there sexy, come here often?”

As a photographer, I hope to help you overcome these situations of life or at least make an impact. The insecurities may be there, but we can all learn how to love them. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible and to have the freedom to throw out whatever ideas you have!

Be creative! Be silly! BE YOU!

I want to capture those moments of you - that you don’t notice or see.
So, let’s make some magic together.
